"BAHIA LIVE" is a organized trip you can exspierence with Rita Silva in Bahia. These trips are done twice a year during the most exciting periods of the year.

Carnival-Each year Carnival comes at a different time, mostly its between the months of-February -March we will be taking small groups of 12 people from as short as 1 week - 4 weeks......There is a opportunity of joining and participating in Carnival in a Carnival group.

Candomble Houses - Most Candomble houses open different periods throughout the year, so we will be taking groups up to 12 people to explore the interest of the houses of worship of the Afro-Brazilian Yoruba beliefs, where you can observe during their ritual ceremonies, and learn more about the tradition by meeting conferences with the Priest or Priestesses of the houses of Worship. These trips encourage people to exsperience living with native families . Organized hotels are available. We also intergrate many points of interests and encounters with people that are involved in different forms of Bahias artistic makeup and issues of strength and survival:

*Such as:* Talks with Priest and Priesesses of Candomble Houses and cowrie shell reading Discussion with women in social changes of the African Hertiage and their rights, working with children in underprivillaged communities. Meeting with artists and hearing about their struggle and their influences. Taking classes in Afro-Brazilian dance and drums with professionals.
